Samjautha Blast: Hindu radicals charge-sheeted

NEW DEHLI:

Just three days before the foreign secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan, the National Investigation Agency on Monday filed a charge-sheet in a court against five Hindu radicals, including Swami Aseemanand, in the Samjhauta Express train blast case and mentioned a senior leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Indresh Kumar, as one of the “suspects” in the terror act, India Times reported on Monday.

Though Kumar is not an accused in the case as NIA has so far not found “any corroborative evidence of his direct link”, the agency referred to him thrice in the charge-sheet. It said that his involvement in the conspiracy is “highly suspected”.

BruteForce | 13 years ago | Reply @sanity: "Why keep such a hostile area in your satchel? Just discard it." The International media certainly has a different take! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303936704576398860402932124.html?mod=djemIndiaUpdate_h It calls it the Tourism Boom. And, this doesn't seem like people are voiceless does it? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123048366626337803.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/2312727.stm Mind you, these are all neutral media organizations. Following your brilliant logic, why doesn't let go off Balochistan? Here is what Guardian says about it as recently as last month. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/mar/29/balochistan-pakistans-secret-dirty-war Here is what it says,"In Balochistan, mutilated corpses bearing the signs of torture keep turning up, among them lawyers, students and farm workers. Why is no one investigating and what have they got to do with the bloody battle for Pakistan's largest province?" So, compared to Kashmir, Balochistan is hell! Why do you want such a piece of land with you? Just discard it.
BruteForce | 13 years ago | Reply @sanity: "They dont grow arms in soil either. ‘Someone’ is their life line." So when Iran accuses Pakistan of supporting the militants there it is the truth. After all how do they get their arms! They cross over into Iran from Pakistan. Pakistan must be supporting them! Same with Afghanistan Taliban. Where do they get their arms? Must be Pakistan, if one goes by your logic. Only if you cared to read your own newspapers you would know who is financing these Terrorists. http://tribune.com.pk/story/173744/wikileaks-saudi-arabia-uae-funded-extremist-networks-in-pakistan/ This very own newspaper says,"But militancy is deeply rooted in Pakistan. In order to eradicate it, analysts say, the government must improve economic conditions to prevent militants from recruiting young men disillusioned with the state. The network in Punjab reportedly exploited worsening poverty to indoctrinate children and ultimately send them to training camps, said the cable. Saudi Arabia is seen as funding some of Pakistan’s hardline religious seminaries, or madrassas, which churn out young men eager for “holy war”, posing a threat to the stability of the region." So you have got your answer. Saudi Arabia and UAE are the culprits. Stop blaming India. Start diagnosing the disease correctly before the tumor bursts! "She was not a witness to the murder. And we dont hear much about Hindu-right-wing incidents because they are in govt. all the time." Like you were a witness? Or, any one from the Urdu Media were! Look at what you are saying. Pakistani Government has accepted the LeT carried out the attack. The UN has blacklisted LeT and Hafiz Saeed. The Interpol has issued notices. But, no, you think otherwise! If you think your version is true then why dont you convince your own Government of letting go the Terrorists who are in jail for the Mumbai attacks? Pakistan has released so many Terrorists in the past, releasing a few more wont make such a difference. By the way, Pakistan has released Ilyas Kashmiri many times. Ultimately, he was responsible for the Navy base attack few days ago. Wasn't he even in the Pakistani Army? So Pakistanis only had the good sense to jail a Terrorist, many lives and millions of dollars worth of equipment would have been saved.
