ISLAMABAD: A low-rank government employee was brutally murdered in the heavily populated Sector G-7/34 of the capital. The Homicide Unit In-charge of the related zone Inspector Malik Muhammad Arshad stated that the victim Nasir Hussain Qadri was working as a naib qasid in a government institution.
He revealed that Nasir was killed by a sharp tool by unknown suspects. The police returned the corpse to the victim’s family after the post-mortem. Inspector Arshad claimed that the victim was a drug addict.
However, when he was questioned about whether evidence of the victim’s drug abuse was mentioned in his medical report, he stated that the unit was still waiting for the official post-mortem report for a confirmation.
