"If Nawaz's treatment can only be done in London, then the government will look into it," Tareen said while speaking at an event in Lahore.
In the same breath. he suggested that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) top leader should get his treatment in the country. "An entire mobile cardiac care unit is now at his disposal."
Last year on December 24 an accountability court convicted Nawaz in Al-Azizia reference and sentenced him to seven-year rigourous imprisonment while also imposing on him a hefty fine.

When asked about the three-time premier's bail application being accepted, the PTI leader said that the decision is not up to the government and would be decided by courts.
Talking about today's meeting between Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Tareen said: "Bilawal made it clear that the meeting was purely on a personal level to inquire about his health and not political."
Nawaz, who is currently incarcerated at the Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail and has been suffering from cardiac issues.
