Panjpir blast: Victim succumbs to injuries

Abdul Basit was injured in the suicide blast at the Khyber Super Market few days ago

SWABI: Abdul Basit, who was critically injured in the Panjpir blast, lost his battle for life at the Wah Cantt Burn Centre on Sunday, officials said. Abdul Basit, son of Abdul Naeem and resident of the Panjpir district, Swabi, was injured in the suicide blast at the Khyber Super Market few days ago and was admitted to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) in a precarious condition. He was later shifted to Burn Centre at Wah Cantt. The victim was buried in his native graveyard.
