Wahan says Chohan should apologise to Kashmiri, Hindu brothers

KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Law and Anti-corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab reacted on Tuesday to Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz Chohan's remarks about Hindus and Kashmiri people and demanded that Chohan must tender an unqualified apology to Hindu and Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

He demanded of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership to reprimand Chohan. In a statement, he said that using such insulting remarks for a religion was a clear sign of being a quite an uncivilised person. He said that all PTI workers unfortunately consider themselves a custodian of all wisdom. He advised Chohan to use common sense prior to making such insulting and ridiculous utterances.

Wahab further condemned the Indian aggression. He said that Pakistan's valiant armed forces were the best in the world and we would stand with our armed forces to defend our motherland. Wahab added that the entire Pakistani nation was united to foil Indian designs and conspiracies. Regarding the aggression by the Indian Navy in Pakistani territory in the sea on Monday night, the barrister added that the Pakistan Navy was ready to counter any aggression.
