Meanwhile, the All Karachi Qingqi Rickshaw Welfare Association has expressed pleasure over the notification issued by the provincial transport minister.
While talking to The Express Tribune, the association's president, AA Wahidi, said that the routes have to be decided for the connecting roads.
The association has applied for 90 routes and when these routes will be decided, the Qingqi rickshaws will be out on roads again, he said.
"We are grateful to the courts for giving permission," he said and demanded that the laws made for the Qingqi rickshaws be made a part of the Motor Vehicle Ordinance.
