Misconduct: UAF student suspended

According to UAF officials a student was accused of misbehaving with a female student.

FAISALABAD: A University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) BSc student was fined and suspended for misbehaving with a female student. According to UAF officials, Agriculture Engineering student Raheem was accused of misbehaving with a female student. After receiving a complaint, the university administration questioned Raheem and fined him Rs2,000. Raheem admitted to insulting a female student and was also suspended for two weeks. The administration has placed him on probation for the remainder of his stay on campus. Administration officials have also placed a complaint box in the main offices. “We want any female students being harassed to file a complaint, even if it is anonymous. We will investigate the matter,” administration official Ramzan said.
