Actor took to Instagram to share her thoughts regarding the PM's speech

The current political situation between India and Pakistan has truly shaken the two states. Local celebrities and the general public of Pakistan have been speaking up against war and rooting for peace and harmony. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech won the hearts of many.

Actor Mahira Khan took to Instagram to share her thoughts regarding his speech too. "Proud of the words spoken by my PM Imran Khan. Thank you for countering war hysteria with sensibility. We stand united behind you!" she said.

Khan warned of catastrophic consequences should “better sense” not prevail. “We have said that we are prepared for dialogue on terrorism. I once again invite India to come to the negotiating table,” the PM said in a televised address hours after two Indian warplanes were shot down by Pakistani fighter jets in Pakistani airspace.
