The National University of Modern Languages (NUML) could soon launch a masters in philosophy (MPhil) programme at the varsity.

This was stated by NUML Rector Major-General (retd) Ziauddin Najam during a documentary screening ceremony at the varsity on Monday. The ceremony had been organised by the NUML Mass Communication Department

He added that they will soon launch the post-graduate programme apart from setting up an up-to-date editing and graphics laboratory for students apart from enhancing other facilities.

The rector added that this was an era of a media war where skilled youth were required to counter the negative propaganda being spread against the country. In this regard, he said that young media students could play an effective role. Earlier, as many as 45 documentaries had been submitted by students as part of their final projects for their degrees.
