PTM attends Advisory Committee meeting

Govt open to talks with disgruntled elements of society to forge national unity

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister on Fata Ajmal Wazir said on Monday that the K-P government Advisory Committee consisting of Fata parliamentarian will hold talks with Pashtoon Tahafuz Movment (PTM) to address and solve their issues.

Government wants to end the grievances of the disgruntled elements of the society so as to forge national unity.

“Due to the current situation, as we were in a war like position with our enemy, the government decides to unite all the Pakistanis and give a message to our enemy that we all are united,” Ajmal Wazir added.

This he said on Monday at a press conference at CM House Peshawar after the meeting of Advisory Committee on Fata chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and attended by Fata parliamentarians.

Wazir added that PTM leaders Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar also participated in the advisory committee meeting, adding that soon the advisory committee will visit in the form of Jirga to talk with PTM leader about their issues and hope that they will accept the Jirga.
