To highlight the scenic beauty and rich culture the country possess
LAHORE: Lately quite a few foreign travellers, bloggers and vloggers have been on visits to Pakistan to highlight the scenic beauty and rich culture the country possess. Where the intent of foreign bloggers cannot be doubted, it’s disappointing to see the local print and electronic media giving them the entire spotlight that is equally deserved by the local bloggers too. This tells how we, as a nation, are not entirely done taking pride in foreigners doing for us what our own people have been doing for long.
While social media is enough to show who’s doing what, the local media must play its role in supporting young, local bloggers who can and are doing as good as any foreign blogger.
