This is a good sign that we are now moving towards economic stability

LAHORE: It was a great visit by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan warmly welcomed Muhammad bin Salman. With the Saudi Prince beside him, the PM drove the car himself from the airport to the PM House.

The PM’s cabinet and Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa welcomed the Saudi Crown Prince at the PM House. During the visit, important investment agreements worth $20 billion were signed between the two sides. This is a good sign that we are now moving towards economic stability.

Muhammad Bin Salman also accepted our PM’s request for release of more than 2,000 Pakistani prisoners languishing in Saudi jails. The Saudi Crown Prince also met President Arif Alvi and the Army Chief.

President Alvi conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan on the Crown Prince. Overall, the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince was really great, and we all hope to see the bilateral relationship to strengthen further.
