QUETTA: As many as 71 families were provided with free ration by Frontier Corps in Duki during a ceremony on Wednesday.

“So far more than 2,011 families have been provided monthly ration under the ‘Coal Mines Project’ and apart from this the FC are also serving the public in health sector,” said Commander 84-Wing Colonel Shah Nawaz Saleem while distributing ration among the people.

Last week, FC Inspector General Major General Fayazul Hassan lauded the efforts of tribal people in the fight against terrorism.

“Not only security forces but the brave tribal people of Balochistan played a colossal role in restoring peace in Balochistan,” the IG said while addressing a ceremony held by Maiwand Rifles.

Hassan shared that he wanted to meet tribal people of Kohlu from the day he took charge of his duty.
