While certain factors continue to hinder legislation over abortion
KARACHI: A US research agency has revealed horrific figures of unplanned pregnancies and abortions going wrong in Pakistan. While the number of abortion cases in the country is on the rise, deaths resulting due to wrong methods involved are also increasing. While certain factors continue to hinder legislation over abortion, there is a need to come up with ways and means to avoid situations where the mother’s life is in danger.
