PSL telecast in India

Letter February 20, 2019
Cricket fans in India will not be able to enjoy the remaining PSL matches

HYDERABAD: The Modi government has suspended the telecast of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches across India after a suicide bombing in occupied Kashmir killed 44 Indian troops.

The fourth addition of the PSL is underway in the UAE in which six teams are competing for the title. I believe that depriving people of entertainment activities is an immature step taken by a country that claims to be the world’s largest democracy. Cricket fans in India will not be able to enjoy the remaining PSL matches.

It is time for the Pakistan government to boycott Indian entertainment content completely by giving them a clear and befitting response.
