A business-to-business meeting was held on Monday between Saudi traders and a PFC delegation, headed by its Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq, according to a press release.
The Saudi delegation also expressed interest in investing in the furniture sector, besides offering a similar investment opportunity in Saudi Arabia through a joint venture.

They were interested in signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance mutual trade in the sector and extended an invitation to the PFC delegation to visit Saudi Arabia and explore the sector’s potential.
The PFC chief expressed satisfaction over the record investment package prepared by Riyadh for Islamabad, which would be helpful for Pakistan in addressing regional geopolitical challenges.
He praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for playing an active role in the revival of economy and inviting foreign investors and buyers to boost the volume of exports.
Ashfaq said the PFC would play its role in boosting the local furniture sector and would send delegations to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states to explore new vistas of trade in the furniture industry.
