Shortage of anti-flu shots

Letter February 18, 2019
The Sindh government should arrange the vaccine and make it available at many clinics and hospitals

KARACHI: In Karachi, many people have fallen sick owing to a shortage of anti-flu shots. Since the winter season is also considered the season of influenza, clinics and hospitals in the West stock flu shots that are administered to people.

In Karachi, there is perhaps just one clinic that has the vaccine. In a city with a population of over 20 million there is only one clinic where the vaccine is available. The Sindh government should arrange the vaccine and make it available at many clinics and hospitals.
