Presiding a meeting of district officers in Nushki the other day, the minister said the government is taking practical steps for the safety of people travelling on highways.
He vowed to provide basic necessities including health, education to people.
“The elected representatives should resolve the issues of common people in their areas,” he said.

Arif also said that the provincial government has launched tree plantation campaign in connection with the Green Pakistan project.
“Every officer of each department would be bound to plant at least 50 plants in their area and would take care of these plants,” said Arif. He added that thousands of trees would be planted in Nushki district in coming days.
On development project, the minister said that circuit house, bachelor hostel, officers Club would be renovated and ongoing development schemes would be completed soon.
Nushki Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Baloch, former district chairman Mir Aurangzaib Jamaldini and government officials attended the meeting.
