QUETTA: Governor Amanullah Yasinzai has said that Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan would be helpful for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

Talking to media after the convocation ceremony at Lasbela University, the governor said that if more investors would invest in CPEC the country and Balochistan would develop robustly.

“CPEC is successfully going toward completion,” Yasinzai said, adding that Saudi Arabia and other countries were investing in the corridor project.

The governor said: “CPEC is a game changer project for Pakistan, especially for the people of Balochistan”.

He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan was hopeful to complete this project soon.

Yasinzai said the provincial government is thankful to the PM and Higher Education Commission for their support in education sector. The government would soon start technical training education in Uthal, he added.

To a question, the governor said that “Provincial government would build university in every district of Balochistan with the help of HEC”.

The government would be taking serious steps for the betterment of education in the province, he said.

As many as 350 students were conferred with graduate degree during the ceremony.

Member of National Assembly Muhammad Aslam Bhootani, Lasbela University Vice Chancellor Dr Dost Muhammad Baloch, senior government officers were present on the occasion.
