Appointment: NLA gets new chief
Dr Anwar Ahmad is appointed as National Language Authority Chairperson.
ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has approved the appointment of Dr Anwar Ahmad as National Language Authority (NLA) Chairperson. Dr Anwar Ahmed has done his doctorate in Urdu short stories and has vast teaching and administrative experience in various universities and colleges including Osaka University, Japan, said a press release issued by the PM secretariat here on Friday.
