Swiss ambassador visits COMSATS

Thomas Kolly visits on the invitation of CUI Rector Dr Raheel Qamar

The Swiss Ambassador Thomas Kolly visited COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) on the invitation of the CUI Rector Dr Raheel Qamar with a three-member Swiss delegation.

The delegation comprised Prof Stylianos E Antonarakis from University of Geneva Medical School, Switzerland; Gustave Roussy Cancer Center Researcher Prof Sergey Nikolaev and Dr Muhammad Ansar from University of Geneva Medical School, Switzerland.



Kolly elaborated on different higher education scholarships being offered by the Swiss government for Pakistanis and emphasised the need to encourage faculty exchange between the universities of both countries.

Furthermore, the delegation held a meeting with the top management of CUI led by the CUI rector. The rector warmly welcomed the delegation and the International Office head gave a brief presentation about CUI.
