Irrfan Khan to begin shooting 'Hindi Medium 2' this month

Actor is back in India and is all set to return to the sets

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan's news of cancer came as a shock to many. The Piku star was in the UK for treatment. However, if recent buzz is to be trusted, he's back in India and is all set to return to the sets.

According to Times Now, the actor will start shooting for the sequel of Hindi Medium on February 22.

Rumour has it that the costume designers have already started looking for the actor's outfits. The leading lady is yet to be decided, a source told the entertainment website.

The first part of the film was released in 2017. It was directed by Saket Chaudhary and, along with Irrfan, it also starred Saba Qamar in the lead role.

The film was lauded by critics and the audience alike. The film talked about the pressure parents face while getting their kids admitted to a reputed school.

It was also reported that the makers of the film went to London to meet Irrfan. The narration of the script was held there. After the meeting, the actor agreed to return for the sequel. The female lead against opposite Irrfan is yet to be decided.
