Sanjrani for fair distribution of water
Government trying to complete small under-construction dam projects in Balochistan, says Vawda

In the wake of rising water crisis in Balochistan, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday summoned Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda and stressed the need for fair distribution of water in the province.
During the meeting, shortage of water in Balochistan was discussed in detail. The minister briefed the Senate chairman about the progress on water projects for the resource-rich but backward province. According to sources, Sanjrani said that water crisis in many areas of Balochistan have severed and government must ensure just distribution of water.
Vawda said that the federal government was trying to complete the small under-construction dam projects in Balochistan. Regarding the distribution of water, a meeting will soon be called in attorney general’s supervision, he added.
