Session judge seeks report from police

LAHORE: Unidentified attackers on Saturday killed a man outside a session court in Lahore.

The two attackers on a motorcycle, opened fire on the man as he arrived at the premises to secure interim bail in a case lodged against him for marrying in accordance with his will.

Following the attack, the victim, Bilal Azeem, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

Session judge Shahid Baig took notice of the incident and sought a report from the police. He further directed that immediate action is taken against the culprits and expressed displeasure over the negligence of on-duty personnel.

Furthermore, the police took the body into custody and initiated an investigation on the matter.
