PML-Q’s Rizwan sworn in as provincial minister

Says all decisions are being taken by consulting stakeholders

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar administered an oath to Pakistan Muslim League's (PML-Q) Muhammad Rizwan as provincial minister at the Governor House on Friday.

The governor said that all coalition partners, including PML-Q, are on the same page. Everyone wants progress and development in the county, therefore, people have given the mandate for five years, he added. "We will fulfill our constitutional tenure."

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, provincial ministers Raja Basharat, Fayazul Hassan Chohan, and Nouman Langrial, PTI Secretary General Arshad Dad, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi and IG Punjab also attended the oath taking ceremony.

After the ceremony, the governor met Buzdar, Rizwan and the PML-Q leader. All the leaders agreed to solve the problems of the country as per the vision of Imran Khan.

PML-Q gets one more cabinet post in Punjab

The governor said that the PTI government is already making decisions by taking all allies on board and it will continue this practice in future too. "The government will provide all facilities to investors to increase economic growth in the country."

Member of Royal Family of Qatar Al Sheikh Faisal Bin Naseer and his delegation also met with the governor. Talking to the delegation, the governor said authorities will take all necessary steps to facilitate investors in Pakistan. "Pakistan has untapped potential in agriculture, tourism, and other sectors."
