KARACHI: Intellectual property rights of multinational companies and national organisations would be protected with strict implementation of Intellectual Property laws in the country, according to Intellectual Property Organisation of Pakistan (IPO) Chairman Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi.

Addressing a meeting with members of the American Business Council (ABC) on Thursday, Afridi said that his organisation was initiating reforms to improve the working of IPO. Afridi said that the process of establishment of Intellectual Property tribunals is in progress and two provinces had so far sent their consent.  Afridi stressed entrepreneurs to get their products registered with the concerned agencies to protect their rights of business.
