It is time that the sport was paid due attention
KARACHI: This is in response to Kamal Siddiqi’s article titled ‘National game or national shame?’ published in this paper on February 4th.
Hockey is our national game but unfortunately it has long been neglected, so much so that Mr Kamal has mentioned that “Pakistan Hockey Federation Secretary Shahbaz Ahmed Senior resigned from his position citing the government’s apathy towards the national game.”
This is saddening and it is time that the sport was paid due attention.
