Three terrorists killed in S Waziristan raid
Security forces recover weapons, communication equipment during operation
ISLAMABAD:
The security forces on Monday killed three alleged terrorists during a raid in former South Waziristan agency. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Gul Kaj area which shares borders with Balochistan.
During the raid conducted as part of the operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, there took place an exchange of fire as the terrorist tried to flee their hideout. During the encounter, three terrorists got killed
Small machine guns, hand grenades, communication equipment and local currency were recovered during the operation. The troops also found identity cards as well as cards of the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on the dead bodies. Authorities have started investigations to identifying the terrorists.
