Taekwondo Championship: Swat girl bags bronze medal in UAE meet

A young girl from Mingora brought home a bronze medal in 27-kg category of the seventh Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship at United Arab Emirates Sports Complex.
The youngest player of the event, eight-year-old Ayseha Ayaz, had secured a place in the championship after being spotted at Under-23 games organised by K-P Directorate of Sports last year.
Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Secretary General and International Referee Murtaza Hassan said that Pakistani taekwondo fighters won medals when Sinan Ashfaq Ahmed and Muhammad Danish secured gold medals, Taimur Saleem got silver and Arifullah Khan won the bronze.
Pakistan Taekwondo team gave excellent performance in World Taekwondo Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship. Team Pakistan won two gold, silver and two bronze medals.
