Police said that the alleged victim was first married to the suspect, identified as Saeed, and then left him for Shafqatullah, the owner of a shelter home where Saeed worked as a driver.
The suspect had earlier threatened to kidnap, rape and murder his employer's wife.
Police registered a case against the suspect but were yet to make any arrests thus far.

The complaint was lodged by Shafqatullah.
Authorities say a medical examination of the victim has not been carried out till the filing of this report.
A senior doctor working at a private hospital in Islamabad told The Express Tribune that if the victim's medical examination is not carried out within 24 hours of the incident, the result will come out negative.
