Failure of 'OK Jaanu' hit me hard: Aditya Roy Kapur
Actor opened up about dealing with lack of success during his appearance on 'Koffee with Karan'
Bollywood star Actor Aditya Roy Kapur garnered much critical acclaim for his passionate role in Aashiqui 2. However, he was unable to impress with projects thereafter including, Daawat-e-Ishq, Fitoor, Welcome to New York and OK Jaanu.
While all of them probably caused him much disappointment, it was OK Jaanu that seemed to have impacted him the most, reported Times Now. "I think everyone is different. I think in the case of OK Jaanu, it hit me a little hard actually," Kapur revealed during his appearance on Koffee with Karan.
He added, "Even the one before that hadn't done well, so it was like a double whammy so to speak. It was a little hard for me to kind of pick myself up from that situation and then get optimistic about what's next."

The 2017 movie is a remake of film-maker Mani Ratnam's Tamil hit OK Kanmani. It shows the story of a young couple Tara and Adi, played by Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya.
The Guzaarish actor went on to share that it took him a while to process what had happened. "I do shut off for a while from the world. I do clamp down and I am to myself for a while... But I think I am just processing what has happened, to make peace with it and then not letting that dictate the attitude with which I carry myself. Because that's not the idea."
