HYDERABAD: Aiming to revive fishing in Keenjhar Lake in Thatta district, 30,000 fertilsed fish eggs, also known as seeds of fish, of various breeds were released in the lake at a ceremony on Wednesday.

Sindh livestock and fisheries minister Abdul Bari Pitafi said that under a project for revival of fishing in the lake, 600,000 seeds of fish will be released in the lake in several phases by June, 2019.

He also announced that a hotel of international standard would be built at the lake to promote local and foreign tourism.
