
Turkmenistan Ambassador Atadjan Movlamov called on Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan and deliberated on various aspects of the TAPI project. “The Petroleum Division will support the project at all levels,” the minister reaffirmed, according to a press release.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters pertaining to mutual interest and reiterated the resolve for timely completion of the project.
The Turkmenistan envoy welcomed the progress made on the pipeline in Pakistan, stating that oil and gas sector had a key role to play in the country’s economy.
The minister assured the envoy of Pakistan’s full commitment to successful implementation of the project. The Petroleum Division and TAPI Pipeline Corporation would soon sign an essential document.
