Pakistan-Iran Relations: President Zardari meets Ahmadinejad
Presidents of both countries hold discussion on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual concern.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday expressed their determination to continue a close collaboration to enhance regional peace and stability.
During a meeting on the sidelines of the SCO summit, the two leaders held a discussion on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual concern. Both leaders agreed to explore new opportunities of economic cooperation between Pakistan and Iran. On this occasion, President Zardari said Pakistan was committed to fighting terrorism and extremism which has adversely affected its society and economy.
