Chinese firm offers support in social sector

Students delegation from Nokkundi visits Saindak project site

QUETTA: A Chinese firm’s representative has pledged his company’s full assistance for the social sector development of the province.

The promise came from MCC Resources Development Limited (MRDL) Vice President Xhang during a visit of a students’ delegation from Nokkundi to Saindak project field on Sunday.

Xhang said, “Saindak Gold and Copper Project is a clear example of the exceptional Pakistan-China friendship and by the cooperation of both countries the MRDL has been moving toward success.”

The official expressed his delight over being among students and local people of Nokkundi. He expressed hope that the students will make a huge contribution to the province’s development.

“Our company is willing to foster technical education in remote areas of Balochistan and the students should pursue mining studies so they can prepare for future development projects,” the official said.

Meanwhile, the students asked various question regarding the company’s exploration work and received satisfactory answers.

The delegation visited various departments of Saindak projects, while the school administration thanked the company for allowing the students’ visit.
The school administration, teachers and students lauded the company’s services for educational and social development of Nokkundi.
