'Load Wedding' star calls out actors selling themselves cheap, says they need to be dignified

Very rarely do we see actor Fahad Mustafa speak up on controversial topics. However, the Na Maloom Afraad star has recently taken to Twitter to voice his opinions on certain 'content' fellow stars are creating.

"Nudity, abusive language and just talking about sex is not content. Let's not call it freedom of speech!" He began. "Actors selling themselves very cheaply is not cool at all. Web series and short films needs to be a little dignified or they should just call it porn..."

We're not quite sure who this tweet is particularly aimed at however, the fact that he only mentions web series and short films rather than commercial/ feature films may be a big hint

It's becoming an increasing trend where different so-called producers are coming up with filthiest content to earn some bucks," stated one user while another said, "Agreed! That's why I respect you as an actor. You have never played an inappropriate role You truly understand that what being an actor means and your responsibility. PROUD OF YOU!"

However, some weren't too happy and went on to point out his "hypocrisy. Another even shared a clip from his film showing 'nudity.'

One user took it upon himself to explain why this occurs, "That’s why it’s a web series. The topics or matters that can't be discussed on national television or wouldn’t be handled by the TRP audience are shown online. Not a new thing, this happens all around the world. Pakistani actors need to grow up."

Another urged him to go out and make a movie on social matters if he has issues with the content currently being created.

Web series and short movies make content in genres where conventional actors dare not to venture.
