Rishi Kapoor finally opens up about his health

The past few months have seen numerous speculations regarding Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor. The actor, who is currently in the US for treatment, has kept mum on the matter. Until now...

The legendary star took to Twitter to share the details with his followers. "My treatment is on, hopefully, I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtues."

Kapoor also shared that he is taking a break as far as his career is concerened. "Thankfully, I am not thinking about films anymore, just want to be blank and refresh myself with a more relaxed mind. This break shall be therapeutic for me." The veteran had announced his "leave of absence back in September."



As per Pinkvilla, there were various reports online suggesting that the actor was suffering from cancer however, none of his family members have confirmed nor denied these rumours.

His wife Neetu Kapoor did however, share a picture on Instagram on New Years day with a caption that read, "Happy 2019 no resolutions only wishes this year! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign!"

She added, "No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness and most importantly, good health." Is this enough to suggest that her significant other is suffering from cancer though?
