The LNH security supervisor, Ashfaq Hussain, filed the FIR No. 240/11 at New Town police station. It has been filed under sections 147, 148, 149 for rioting, section 337-H for aerial firing, 395 for looting valuables and 427 for damaging property. ASI Mohammad Sharif said that the complainant nominated Zahid Khan and over 200 unidentified associates in the case, about two dozen were armed. While Hussain claimed Khan was the ANP vice-president, an ANP spokesman said that there is no vice-president named Zahid Khan. He said that Zahid Khan is a senator and the ANP Pakistan Information Secretary. SHO Raheem Shah said that confusions will be cleared up after their investigation. No arrests have been made yet.
