Matriculation: SSC result announced

ABBOTTABAD: The results of annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations 2011 have been announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abbottabad. The top three positions were secured by Batrasi Cadet College. In class 9, almost 30,746 students appeared in the examination, of which, 27,368 passed with an average mark of 53.93 per cent. In grade 10, 47,401 students appeared in the examination, of which 34,240 passed, with an average mark of 72.23 per cent. Ikram Ullah of Batrasi Cadet College got first position by obtaining 971 marks, Haider Zaman secured 970 marks and was declared second while Muhammad Nauman secured third position by obtaining 969marks. The first, second and third position holders will be given cash awards and medals by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti.
