Unhealthy food

Letter January 20, 2019
We need to switch our eating habits back to where they were two decades ago

GWADAR: According to various reports, unhealthy food consumption patterns across the world are causing irreparable damage to not only the environment but also to human health. Over the past few years, food consumption has witnessed a massive shift to meat and readily-consumable edibles, with less and less of greens and grain making up one’s diet. This has led to a rise in numerous health issues, including obesity and blood pressure, and also paced up the rate for environmental degradation.

We need to switch our eating habits back to where they were two decades ago, only then can we slow down the rate of our own destruction. Also, people really need not to know or be informed about what’s good for their health. All that is now required is making choices that are healthier.
