Trailer for Mehwish Hayat's web series is finally out

All episodes of Wajahat Rauf's 'Enaaya' will release on January 21, 2019

KARACHI: Previously, director Wajahat Rauf disclosed his plans for a web series to The Express Tribune stating that unlike TV, web does not limit a creator to the same kind of plots.

Rauf had added that the stakes of return on investment are not as high as cinema either so you are open to writing anything under the sun. Since no such “approval” committees are involved in the process Wajahat expressed that it was like an artist’s dream come true.



“Hence I’ve branched out with it and will be shooting my first web series with Mehwish Hayat as the lead. You will find audience."

Well, the wait is now over and everything is out in the open. The trailer for the web series titled Enaaya is finally out and boy, does it have potential.

Alongside Hayat in the lead, the series also features Azfar Rehman,  Asad Siddiqui, Faryal Mehmood, and Rabab Hashim. The story revolves around a group of college students and sees Hayat as a playful yet responsible girl. She has a loving relationship with a family, and has a deep passion for music since she was a child.

Determined to win in a inter-college band battle, Rehman seeks to cast Hayat as the lead singer in his band. Once she agrees, that's when things turn south.

There's love, there's emotion and there's definitely a whole lot of fun. Enaaya surprisingly seems quite promising and we can't wait for all the episodes to release on Januaty 21, 2019 on Eros Now.
