CM Kamal invites to invest in various sectors

QUETTA: Chief Minister Jam Kamal held a meeting with China Construction and Engineering Corporation Director Gao Fan on Wednesday over the prospects of development in the province under the CPEC.

Gao, while expressing interest in taking part in the province’s development, said, “Our company has been working on the M-5 section of Eastern Corridor of CPEC and the project has reached the last phase; we want to contribute in development of Balochistan.” He also expressed his company’s interest in construction of the Nokundi-Mashkail-Panjgur Highway.

Lauding the interest of the company, the CM said the government of Balochistan was willing to work with Chinese firms in accordance with the official partnership policy and termed the development of the Western Route imperative for people of Balochistan.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan has promised construction of the Zhob-Karachi two-way highway,” Kamal said and invited the company to contribute in the development of different highways and the Gwadar industrial and export processing zones.

Gao told the CM that the experts of his company would soon visit Balochistan to study the projects.
