English Premier Clubs Chelsea and Manchester United have entered a fight to sign Crystal Palace star defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to The Mirror.

The 21-year-old was handed a debut by Palace during their game against Tottenham in February 2018 and since then he has established himself as manager Roy Hodgson's go-to man in the defence.

He also won club's Player of the Month award in March in 2018.

The Mirror believes Blues and Red Devils are keeping tabs on the youngster, but there is another player also reportedly involved.

EPL's defending champions Manchester City are also planning a deal to land him at the Etihad.

This season Wan-Bissaka has made a total of 24 appearances and also debuted for England's U21 side, playing a full 90 minutes against the Netherlands in September.

His heroics in Palace's defence have earned him plaudits from former Newcastle and England striker Alan Shearer.

“I thought he was absolutely magnificent,” Shearer said after Palace drew 2-2 against Arsenal in October.

“20 years of age. It was only his 16th Premier League start and he looked so very very comfortable.

“Everything he did, whether it was the timing of the tackle, or one-on-one using his pace to recover. Whether it was him not panicking when winning the ball. He looked very experienced out there.”
