PM not immune from probe: NAB chief
“Law will take its owns course of action in light of the judgment of the Supreme Court of Pakistan,” reads the statement stating the bureau has not yet received certified copies of the top court’s verdict in the on-going case.
The bureau has also rejected the impression of adopting a lacklustre approach in this regard, “The anti-graft watchdog always believes in working under the purview of law and Constitution of the country. Time and care is needed to resolve complex legal issues”.
Moreover, NAB has decided to summon interviews and statements of the federal information minister from Pemra, to ascertain it does not influence the decisions.
