Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi warned that recent comments by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry could "rock or dismantle" the alliance between the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and PML-Q, Express News reported.

"Prime Minister Imran should discipline his team," said Elahi adding that those talking about creating a forward bloc within PML-Q should remember that there is forward bloc ready within the PTI as well.

Fawad's comments will surely rock or dismantle this coalition, Elahi said on Twitter.

The information minister had earlier stated that "we have refrained ourselves from forging forward blocs in the PML-Q, PPP and the PML-N as a favour."

Speaking in Express News programme ‘Kal Tak’ on Monday evening, Chaudhry had also said that a grand alliance will now be formed in Sindh comprising PTI, MQM-P, GDA and a forward bloc within PPP, which will turn the ruling party into a minority in Sindh Assembly. A new government will then be formed in the province.

The information minister arrived in Karachi on Tuesday on a two-day official trip and reiterated the party's demand of the provincial chief executive's resignation after Murad Ali Shah's name was added to the Exit Control List (ECL).

The senior leadership of Sindh's ruling party has been added to the no-fly list after their names were mentioned in a JIT report connected to the alleged laundering of billions through fake bank accounts.
