The Islamabad District Bar Association (IDBA) on Tuesday announced that it will curtail its strike to only two days in a week.
This was decided after a meeting of the bar on Tuesday.
Lawyers boycott courts over demolition of chambers
IDBA General Secretary Raja Yasir Shakeel in a statement released on Tuesday stated that the strike would be observed on every Thursday and Friday and that this strike will continue until their demands are met.
It added that the lawyers would not back off from their demands, adding that they had decided to partially roll back their strike to provide relief to the people.
Lawyers in the Sector F-8 Kutchery had gone on strike after they demanded rotation of judges in the federal capital and their chambers were at the district courts had been demolished.
