Talking to reporters on Monday, BNP-M leader Sanaullah Baloch said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) disappointed them by not supporting their candidate in the Senate by-polls. The party has decided to review its coalition with the new government in next party meeting, he added.
BAP, BNP-M front runners in Senate by-polls
“The BNP-M supported PTI in Centre over assurance of better solution for Balochistan and we were expecting more strengthening of our relations with PTI but they disappointed us today [Senate by-elections] after not fulfilling their promise,” said Sanaullah.
He claimed that the PTI had assured their support for BNP-M’s candidate in upper house elections.
Sanaullah highlighted that his party would decide its standing with PTI in Islamabad in coming party meeting.
“If they had supported our candidate then definitely it could have strengthened our relations but they didn’t and turned their votes for BAP candidate,” he added.
