Police claimed that the woman, Sultana Khan, believed to be in her mid-30s, was mentally unstable.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Madhur Verma, no evidence has been found to prove her relation to Pakistan.
"The woman originally belongs to India's Telangana state. Her in-laws live in Mumbai. Two days ago, her family filed a missing complaint in Nizamabad after she left for Mumbai. According to the family, the woman took a train to Delhi from Mumbai. Nothing suspicious has been found against her and according to the doctors she is suffering from a mental illness," Verma said.
