A new episode of Pakistan International Airline's (PIA) ineptness emerged after the national flag carrier sent luggage of six passengers to Jeddah who were offloaded at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Express News reported on Saturday.

The six passengers were prohibited by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from travelling on account of inadequate travel documents.

Transporting luggage to another country without the passenger is a violation of the international law. According to officials, the Saudi Civil Aviation (SCA) took action against PIA for mistakenly sending passengers' luggage to Jeddah.

PIA, on the occasion, sought a report from the concerned officers.  “We have sought the luggage and it would be returned to the passengers soon," airline officials commented.

Jamal | 5 years ago | Reply There is service is really pathetic. I bought a return international ticket through credit card but return part of flight was cancelled. I requested for refund 45 days ago but still unable to get one even after numerous emails and complaints with helpline. Instead of compensation i am not being paid my own money. I will diffinetly think hundred times before boarding PIA plane now
