KARACHI: Pakistan Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) society is going to hold its 26th expo in mid-February. The three-day exhibition of indoor air quality technology is going to be held from February 13-15 at the Expo Centre, Karachi, said organisers of the conference, Expo 2019 Chief Convener Muhammad Abbas Sajid and Karachi Chapter Chairman Noor Afzal at a media briefing. More than 300 exhibiters are participating in the exhibition with 112 participants from China, 35 from Turkey and 15 from Thailand. The association is expecting about 15,000 visitors in the expo. At least 70% manufactures participating in the exhibition are international, while locals are only 30%. Local manufacturing part is not fully explored, said Sajid. “It takes a lot of effort and time to make them understand importance of these exhibitions.”
